Capturing engagement proposals will never get old for me. When Sasha contacted me about his plans to ask Molly to marry him at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, I was ecstatic. He had every detail carefully thought out and planned for his surprise Minneapolis engagement proposal. I could heard so much excitement in his voice. More often than not, the one doing the proposing is a little nervous. This was not the case with Sasha.
When we arrived at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, Molly was under the impression that we were doing a “couples photo session”. She had her makeup and nails done for the occasion and looked so pretty! We started in a empty room of the Minneapolis Institute of Art and got some simple poses. When it was time for Sasha to get down on one knee, I gave him “the look” and nod. Molly was so surprised as she turned around to see Sasha on bended knee. Her reaction was priceless!
A quick outfit change and we were onto snapping more engagement photos around the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Molly has a minor in museum curation so proposing at the Minneapolis Institute of Art was a no-brainer. The museum provided such a cool backdrop for their engagement photos. As we were walking to our cars we stopped to take a few more engagement photos outside in front of the Minneapolis Institute of Art. I’m so glad we did, as those photos are some of my favorites!
I’m so honored I was able to capture this unforgettable time in their life! Congratulations Sasha + Molly!
