Winter Studio Engagement Session | Lizzie + Michael
I don’t shoot engagement sessions in the studio all too often. When Lizzie suggested having her session in the studio, I was super excited! It’s the dead of the winter in Minnesota and temps are below freezing at times. So shooting indoors is definitely welcomed!
The property where the studio was located had a gorgeous snow-filled field. We decided to brace the cold and shoot in the snow until we couldn’t feel our fingers anymore. I’ll have to admit, I was the first one to call it (freeze baby right here!). The temp was below zero and Lizzie and Michael were the biggest troopers, not complaining one bit! There’s just something about the snow that makes photos a tad more magical!
We took our time warming up in the studio, while doing a quick outfit change. I loved the dressy option that they chose! We had the best time together laughing our way through poses. It’s always so great to get to know my client’s a little better during their engagement session. I like to call it the warm up to the Super Bowl! I cannot stinkin’ wait for their wedding this summer at BlueBelle Event Center.
